I am pastor Ivan Petrov from the Gospel church in
Zvanichevo - a village in Rodopa Mountains in Bulgaria. We need your help to build a new church for the
believers in our district, which will serve and the four villages around. Why this is important for us?
Before 420 years, the local population in Rodopa Mountains was a Christians,
but to assimilate them, the sultan of the Turk Empire gave an order they to be converted to the islam. Some part
of these people become a mussulmans, but these, that kept their Christian faith was massacred, their wifes and
children was violated or sold as a slaves. The descendents of the survived from the butchery know, that in
times gone their ancestors has been a Christians, but they still profess the islam.
In the last 12 years, in our region appeared a lot of emissaries
of some islamic sects. All of them preach extreme islamic fundamentalism and jihad against the Christianity.
To oppose them, we spread abroad Christ's words among the people and in the last year we converted to Christiantly
more then 2000 people.
But we ran into difficulties. The islamic sects are financed generously by
countries like Iran, Libya or Syria. They build a new mosques and the most villages have two or three mosques and
one, or either one church. For example, I officiate at the house of one parishioner, because we have no our own
building. This adapted church seats only 20 persons and is the one and only for the 4 villages around.
Every believer needs a place where to pray to God and
if we have our House of God, we will be able to convert to Christiantly more people.
If you want the souls of these poor people to be saved, or you just
want to stop the islamic fundamentalism, please, help us. Every dollar counts.
Unfortunately, the bulgarian banks does not offer instant
e-payment system and PayPal does not work with bulgarian banks,
we can accept your donations only via E-Gold and E-Bullion.
God bless you.
Sincerely
yours,
Pastor Ivan
Petrov
